Well, who ever said that a 2” blazer vane can’t have a helical fletch? Me, and all of us at LBK, for starters. It’s not possible, or is it?

When you think about the concept, it’s a no-brainer. How can a 2” plastic vane be fletched at a 3 degree angle? There is no way that the glue would hold it, and even if it did, it certainly wouldn’t stay for very long.  Particularly when you consider that Blazer Vanes are produced to have a hard spine and not much give to their shape.

Enter the Bohning Helix Blazer Jig.  LBK Outdoors has used the jig to fletch all of our newest arrows. The jig is very easy to use, light weight, and relatively inexpensive. The jig makes it easy for you to get that perfect helical which provides increased accuracy and arrow flight.

Many archery enthusiasts have even switched to mechanical broad heads because they shoot more like their field points which limits the amount of tuning necessary when it comes time to hit the woods.
